Cherry red with a bluish rim. Bright and clean. Intense fresh fruit aromas with hints of vanilla, toasted sensations and cacao notes. Well structured. It delivers great concentration and persistence of red fruit. The tannins are round and sweet, soft and well balanced with a lingering finish. Very promising.

Grape: 100% Tempranillo
Alcohol: 14%
Autochthonous yeast.

Ordered this as a Christmas gift for my brother. He called me yesterday to tell me how much he enjoyed this Rioja. Might buy some for myself to try.

Strong tobacco on the nose - I liked that. On the palate is full-bodied, velvety, well-structured, balanced with herbs and minerals. Good.

Colour: Brilliant, bright and intense with a medium-rich dark colour.

Aroma: This wine has all the characteristics of a well-matured Graciano grape variety. Well-combined with touches of mint and spices. Very rich in nuances.

Palate: This wine has a nice, strong passage through the mouth. Wide, potent, rich, well-balanced with vibrant acidity and with a long and persistent finish.

It needs sufficient breathing before you can touch it, we allowed 12 hours and only then we liked it. So all and all, it needs time but it's good value now, well it might not be tomorrow with the inflation rising everyday.
